How to Play Typing Safari
Learn the keyboard one row at a time. A letter, word, phrase, or sentence appears, a safari friend cheers every key you get right, and confetti falls each time you finish one.
Controls
Type on a real keyboard, or tap the on-screen keys. Colours show which finger reaches each key. Press Enter to start a new round, and use the gear to pick a lesson.
Goal
Finish a round of prompts as accurately as you can. Three stars need 95% accuracy, so careful typing beats fast typing.
Tips
- Rest your fingers on the home row — A S D F for the left hand, J K L for the right.
- Start with the Home Row lesson, then add the top and bottom rows.
- Look at the screen, not your hands. The finger hint tells you which finger to use.
- Switch to Words, then Phrases and Sentences, once single letters feel easy.
